THE past two years have been quite the unexpected roller coaster ride of a journey. While things are not yet completely back to normalcy, with the progress and positive news as of late, the light at the end of the tunnel seems to be near—coincidentally, just in time for the merriest season of the year.
With Christmas just around the corner, Taft Properties aims to spark the holiday spirit by celebrating and honoring our beloved Christmas traditions.
The real estate developer kicked off its yuletide festivities with a tree lighting ceremony at the Taft East Gate showroom on Oct. 27, 2021.
Located along a busy intersection in Mabolo, the four-piece Christmas tree ensemble is quite a sight to behold. The two bigger trees are made of steel cables adorned with beautiful LED lights, while the smaller two are in classic verdant faux fir with “Maligayang Pasko” emblazoned in front of it.
Somehow, the installation mirrors the much-anticipated property itself: The four trees represent the four towers of Taft East Gate. The mix of strong steel and lush greenery reflects the overall design, a blend of modern amenities and open-air spaces like sky gardens and jogging paths.
At the affair, Taft Properties president and chairman Jack Gaisano was joined by his wife and their children—a rare sighting at corporate events as pointed out by chief operating officer Myra Lynn Gilig.
Their attendance as a family relayed quite the message for the event, which was dubbed “Christmas Traditions.”
This season comes with a lot of cherished traditions: shopping for presents, putting up a tree, wearing cute sweaters, to name a few. But the cardinal tradition would be spending quality time with loved ones, whether it’s with family or friends.
As the holiday rush slowly comes in full swing, Taft East Gate’s stunning Christmas tree may hopefully serve not only as a symbol of the season of giving, but also a beacon of hope, and a reminder to cherish the one most important tradition: to be with family.
