Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu- Art enthusiasts and aficionados experienced the best of Cebuano and Visayan art expressed in various media at the Soltana Gallery at Soltana Events Tent featuring MANO-MANO Arts and Crafts EXPO- An exhibit highlighting avant-garde masterpieces from local artists and artisans.

The event started its soft opening on April 16, 2021 from 9AM till 5PM and formally opened its doors in time for the 500th Celebration of the Victory of Mactan with the “Oponganons” on April 17 from 5PM till 7PM. The awards and recognition ceremony commenced the next day, April 18 from 5PM till 7PM. The exhibit was open for public viewing until April 30, 2021 from 9 AM till 7 PM.

The 2021 Quincentennial Commemorations in the Philippines mark the milestones from the introduction of Christianity in the country, the circumnavigation of the Magellan- Elcano expedition, all the way to the Victory of Lapu-Lapu in the Battle of Mactan.

MANO-MANO Arts and Crafts Expo also celebrates the craftsmanship of Cebuanos honing their craft among various inspirations and influences through the years.
