“Let there be light.” This is the message conveyed by Horizons 101, the tallest building in Cebu, as it welcomes the start of the Christmas season.
Developed by Taft Properties, the iconic tower celebrates Christmas Traditions with its signature radiant parols and colorful lanterns, a tradition that no amount of pandemic-threatened environment can stop.
This year’s Christmas Lighting ceremony on October 29, 2021 banners the theme, “Traditions of Christmas”.
Hosted by Ginoong Pilipinas 2019 Eric Visser, the annual event showcases Filipino traditions and heritage through a cultural performance from the Jose R. Gullas Visayas Chorale and culminates with a grand fireworks display.
Pillars of the Gaisano family led by Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc., founder Sally Gaisano grace the meaningful event, which signifies gratefulness and honoring the start of the happy season amid challenging times.
Horizons 101 homeowners, partners, and guests also take part. The ‘Traditions of Christmas’ celebration starts with an Open House at 3 p.m. followed by the actual tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m.
