FOLLOWING events at Mandani Bay and Taft East Gate, Taft Properties keeps the merry momentum going with its third tree lighting ceremony for the season, this time at the iconic Horizons 101 on General Maxilom Ave. in Cebu City.
On Oct. 29, 2021, Taft invited guests once again for a night of joy and cheer at Cebu’s tallest residential tower. Since the pandemic, the lighting ceremony is no longer just an annual tradition, but also a celebration of hope and resilience.
Taft Properties president and chairman Jack Gaisano and family, as well as chief operating officer Myra Lynn Gilig, did the honors of lighting the tree, which was then followed by a grand fireworks display that illuminated the sky while also, coincidentally, highlighting the two-tower condominium itself.
Situated right outside the property’s showroom and office, Horizons 101’s Christmas tree this year is a five-piece installation that features a large tree flanked by two smaller trees on each side, all adorned with a plethora of star-themed ornaments.
During the event, guests were serenaded by the multi-awarded Cebuano chorale group, Jose R. Gullas (JRG) Visayas Chorale, with yuletide classics that perfectly set the tone and mood for the holiday season.
This holiday season, may small celebrations like these be a reminder that no matter how tough and uncertain life can get—just like how Horizons 101 stands as a symbol of modernity and industry—we can rise from adversity and forge ahead with a higher perspective.
